Welcome to the Bio page! This is where I get to go on and on about, well, myself.

My name is Nicholas Podany (surprise!). I'm sixteen years old and have been, luckily, born and raised in Los Angeles.

I've been acting on stage since age 7 when I played Conrad Birdie in Bye Bye Birdie (It was a youth production, needless to say). I instantly got hooked on acting and knew it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Since then I've performed in more than 30 shows, including 'Hermetically Sealed' at the Skylight Theatre, 'On Golden Pond' (with Hal Linden and Christina Pickles) at The Colony Theatre, and 'The Diviners' at Theatre Palisades.

I've also been recently getting more into film. I'm Max, the star football kicker in the little town of Bluebell on the show Hart of Dixie. So far, I've been in two episodes: 207, "Baby Don't Get Hooked On Me," and 210, "Blue Christmas." I'm also in a short film (a Western, at that!) called The Adventures of Sheriff Kid McLain. You might have also seen me being drenched in the face by a squirtgun in a Swiffer commercial.

If you want to know more of what I've done, check out the "Resume" page.

In my spare time, I write, record, and compose music. My band and I go under the name "Across Coves." If you want to hear some of my songs, go on Youtube and look up the name "Across Coves." Or you could go on Facebook, and look the band up. OR you could go to soundcloud.com and look it up there.

Cool fact is that I tap dance. I actually took tap classes for about five years. I've been in enough musicals to know musical theatre dance pretty well. However, despite my grandmother's requests, I have yet to take any ballet.

And that's me in a short bio. Hope you enjoyed reading it. Feel free to browse any of the other pages.
